Program Information:
The following services are available for qualifying children within the D46 boundaries. Eligibility is based upon testing results and team recommendations.

  • Speech Itinerant Services
    Speech Itinerant Services are offered to those students who are found to solely have a speech/language delay. Typically, no other areas of service are needed.
  • Preschool For All (PFA)
    Children who meet the at-risk criteria set by District 46, and in accordance with the State of Illinois, may qualify for this program. The Preschool For All Program is a blended classroom. This means these classrooms include students who meet the criteria for the Preschool For All Programs, as well as those receiving direct services (Early Childhood students) and students from our Community Preschool Tuition Program.
  • Early Childhood Program (EC)
    Children qualifying for this option have completed a play-based assessment with out Early Childhood Assessment Team and require a classroom setting to address specified goals. This placement option is available to students who receive services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and social work services through an IEP.

It is both the responsibility and the pleasure of Community Consolidated School District 46 to inform all families regarding district policies and practices. In an effort to both inform you and conserve resources, the 2021-2022 Student Handbook is available to download here. You have the option to view and/or download the handbook from the web or request a printed-paper copy of the handbook. This handbook contains important information including the district mission statement, philosophy, goals and responsibilities, school calendar, school contact information, and an overview of programs, policies, and student and parent responsibilities. Please review the 2021-2022 Community Consolidated School District 46 Student Handbook and submit the Student Handbook Agreement as soon as possible. Please submit a separate form for each of your children.
